Derma Wax (60ml)

Method

Scrape the Derma Wax out of the jar using the rounded side of the Derma Wax Spatula. By scraping, you make the texture a little more pliable. Next, make the wax workable by alternately applying it to and scraping it off the heel of your hand two or three times with the spatula. The wax should be pliable but also firm, and it must absolutely not become too soft and sticky.

Apply the Derma Wax to the skin with the rounded side of the spatula and smooth out the edges so that no grease or moisture can get underneath. Use the tip of your finger and a little bit of Grimas Cleansing Cream to smooth the Derma Wax and even out the edges. Dab the entire area with a dry and clean makeup sponge. This removes excess Cleansing Cream and creates a 'skin texture' effect.

Powder the area using a makeup sponge with Grimas Transparent Powder to mattify and set; turn the sponge over and dab with the clean side until the excess powder has been worked away.

Derma Wax is a transparent wax. If you want to color the wax in the case of a thick deformity (for example, a large lump), you can do this with Grimas Crème Make-up Pure or Camouflage Make-up Pure. Powder the entire area with a makeup sponge with Grimas Transparent Powder to mattify and set; turn the sponge over and dab with the clean side until the excess powder has been worked away.

To create an 'open wound', the Derma Wax buildup is 'cut open' with the sharp side of the Derma Wax Spatula. Grease the tip of the spatula with a little bit of Cleansing Cream. This will allow the spatula to glide through the Derma Wax more easily and prevent it from sticking to the spatula.

By opening up the wound edges, you create a battered effect. Carefully lift the 'wound edges' with the Derma Wax spatula lightly greased with Cleansing Cream. Do this gently.

Coloring: To suggest depth in the 'wound', color the bottom with black makeup. Then color the inside of the wound with dark red makeup (Grimas Water Make-up Pure or Crème Make-up Pure).

Removal

Scrape the Derma Wax off the skin with the spatula.

Massage the skin with Grimas Multi Remover Pure or Cleansing Cream.

Repeat the above 2 steps as many times as necessary. If a light film forms on the skin, clean it off with Grimas Cleansing Lotion.
